HOW TO

So, here's a video as promised. It's not great but it shows some of the trickier parts of making the boats. Also features my current favourite song!

and here are some easier instructions. If you do one, tell me because I really want to see them. I'm making mine into a little mobile, but you could do all sorts with them. Mini earrings even!

DRAGON BOATS

So, last night I went to an event at the mac in Birmngham. I was feeling terribly ill, and had a mad panic on the trains but I got there in the end. My youth group have an instillation there as part of the Allotment project (which you can view more about here) and we were visiting to talk to people and see how it was getting along. In this time, we ended up making a stop-motion film of all the boats escaping and this little gif of how to make a Dragon Boat. I might do a DIY later on how to make a trail of them as a decoration, but I think they look really lovely and are pretty simple as far as origami goes!

IDLE TEENS

These are from yesterday. My birthday was lovely, got a sudden call from Poppy asking me if she could stay over for a few nights, so she did! We went on a cheeky trip to McDonalds and ate like 3 packs of medium fries, then wandered around town photographing things. Pop is the bestest, agree?

startting to develop ideas for a project for my summer and exam period to keep me sane. All about being a teenager and why adults seem to forget what it was like. Also, this IS a film of my beautiful new lights in my bed, which I had quite a lot of fun puttng up as a quick break from revision!

trying to get inspired and interested, but lacking a camera charger which is a pretty major problem. If anyone knows where I can get a Lp-E5 Canon charger (or one that will charge this battery) - for a canon 500/450D camera - I would be forever grateful, especially if its under £30! Anyway, I'll leave you with that, check out their work for more examples because there's some really beautiful and wonderfully taken photos.

Ok, so this woman is like my idol. In proving a point about how ridiculous fame is, she's gained huge fame, and I think that's something to be pretty proud of.
Plus I love her music, and her, so my opinion (^) totally isn't biased.(!)

But anyway, my tickets should have come by now for her concert which was going to be next weekend but has been pushed back to after my exams, so I have something to keep me going and stop me going actually mad.
